Good evening! Is it me or has blogger been weird lately? I don't know why but my "followers" list comes and goes and when I go look at blogs I follow I don't see them there and then they appear. So odd!

On that note, today was a little hot and gloomy here in Florida. I did these yesterday and the photos came out darker than I liked but I was able to adjust the contrast and brightness a bit. I had fun doing these! They're a few of the networks I use often: Google, YouTube, Facebook, Blogger, and Twitter - Twitter being the least used...I'm still getting a hang of it :-).

Tomorrow is my first "Pink Wednesday"! I'm excited about the theme I'm doing! Come back tomorrow to see :-)

Marvel Superheroes to the Rescue!

Burrrr it's getting a little colder! I love grabbing myself a nice cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks when it's chilly out. Nothing says "'tis the season" more than a nice hot drink.

My boyfriend, James inspired me to paint this group of handsome Marvel men on my nails. James is your basic young American man who still has that boy spirit and loves video games and comics :-) The other day he was talking about going to see Captain America: The First Avenger so that made me think of wanting to do my nails with the characters. If you can't tell, they're Wolverine, Spiderman, Hulk, Captain America, and Ironman on my nails. This one definitely took a long time but the end result was well worth it!

Powerpuff Girls

It took me FOREVER to pick this design out. I don't know why but it was like I forgot what to do?? Does that make sense?? I wanted to do a little bumble bee but that didn't work out. I also tried to do butterfly wings and that didn't work either. I decided to do The Powerpuff Girls after I thought about Lil C.Ly's costume she wore with her friends at school :-) My favorite character in this is Mojo Jojo. Evil as he may be, he looks cute on my stubby pinky!

I forgot to mention, if you've noticed that we had little duckies and piggies in all of our posts, they're our mascots, Jelly and Belly! I love yellow rubber duckies and Lil C.Ly loves piglets :-) I created them on Photoshop and decided to play dress up with them from time to time to match our nails. Feel free to check Jelly and Belly out at the link on the top of our blog or go here. I think the new outfits I made for this theme would be the one I like most right now.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!!! What did you dress up as? I went as Jade from Mortal Kombat along with a group of friends and family. We went downtown (Orlando) in a group of 8 or 9 and had a blast taking pictures with a bunch of other people dressed up. I know the group photos I put up are small but my brother (Ricky) would be the one in the Raiden outfit and his fiancé is Kitana (May), Mileena is May's twin sister, June (in real life) and her fiancé is Sub-Zero (Don). Other characters were Reptile (Van), Scorpion (Troy), and Kung Lao (Khai). That might've been confusing and un-necessary info but thought I would share that with you! Lil C.Ly is in high school so she lives with our parents in West Palm and didn't get a chance to go.

The nail design idea (solid color with OPI black shatter) came from May and we thought it'd be cute if we had matching nails even though it was so dark out and no one would see it lol. We each did our own and June (Mileena) added some silver onto hers to represent the nasty teeth that her character had in the game.

I mentioned in my previous post that I was going to get a sewing machine, and I did!! I made the girls' outfits (with a bit of their help of course) as well as mended some of the boys' outfits. I originally got a small sewing machine that looked like a toy called "Sew E-Z" lol and I really liked it so I decided to upgrade to a big girl sewing machine and got a Brother one. I'm obsessed with it right now! I made a couple of pillows for my bed and it's awesome! Hmm..what should I do next?
